Mickey Lee Lovett

Mickey Lee Lovett, 59 year old Purcell, Oklahoma resident, and former Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life Monday, April 11, 2016 at Baptist Burn Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He was born July 19, 1956 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Ralph Lee Lovett and Adrian Lee (Landrith) Lovett. Mickey graduated from Seminole High School in 1974.  On June 14, 1975 he married Cindy Buchanan in Seminole, Oklahoma. Mickey worked for Firestone Tire Company where he was a tire builder. The couple moved to Purcell 23 years ago from Seminole.  Mickey was a car hobbyist who also enjoyed mowing his yard. Mickey is survived by his wife of almost 41 years, Cindy (Buchanan) Lovett of the home in Purcell, Oklahoma; by one son, Daniel Lovett and his wife Amber of Purcell, Oklahoma; by one daughter, Tanika (Lovett) Mason and her husband Chris of Norman, Oklahoma; by one brother, Paris Lovett of Eugene, Oregon; by one sister, Sharon Lovett of Purcell, Oklahoma; by four grandchildren, Malachi and Maddox Mason of Norman, Oklahoma and by Logan and Parker Lovett of Purcell, Oklahoma; and by a host of other family and dear friends. Mickey is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Lee Lovett and Adrian Lee (Landrith) Lovett, by his twin brother, Rickey Lovett, and by two sisters, Linda Robinson and Beverly Walters. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole, Oklahoma with Larry Buchanan officiating the service. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
