Michael Allen York, 53 of Shawnee, Oklahoma died with his best friend Michael Snyder and his loving family at his bedside on Saturday, June 16, 2007.rnrnMichael was born on February 5, 1954 to Raymond Dan and Juanita L. (Adams) Myers, in Clinton, Oklahoma. Later Michael moved to Enid, Oklahoma where he grew up.rnrnMichael pursued his lifelong passion as a musician. He started playing piano at the age of 3 and later became a composer,writer and singer. He served his country in the United States Air Force as an Airman and was stationed in Okinawa. He was also an avid photographer and loved gardening.rnrnMichael will be truly missed by his loving family and his best friend Michael Snyder who survives him.rnrnSurvivors include his best friend, Michael Snyder, his father Raymond Dan Myers of Seminole, Oklahoma, four loving sisters, Rebecca Joan Douglas and Kelli Dene Cathey both of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Cheryl Rae Sivels of Parkton, North Carolina, Mary Kathleen Gordon of Bailey, Colorado.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his mother Juanita L.
