Michael Joseph Moore

Michael Joseph Moore, 62, passed away on February 22, 2024, from a stroke while living in the Seminole, Oklahoma nursing home.  Michael was born in Topeka, Kansas.  He grew up in Del City, Oklahoma. He graduated from Del City High School and to say he was smart was an understatement. Michael graduated with full honors even after his accident. He had many talents before his accident.  One of them was playing the guitar. He was self-taught and could hear any song once and could play it from start to finish.   He played the bass in a small band Michael and his brothers put together.

Michael was preceded in death by both his dad, Robert William Moore and stepdad, Edward Leon Bryen.

Michael is survived by his mom, Twanna June Hawk: six siblings, James David Moore and wife, Julie; Gary Vaughn Bryen and wife, Lisa; Paula Ruth Samsel; Rhonda Kay McIntyre-Bryen; LaDonna Jane Bryen-Gappa and husband, Gary; Raenell Lynn Bryen-Patterson and husband, Wayne along with several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by his wife, Barbara Paul and three of his children: Sherri Ann Moore and her children; Victor Mykbar Moore and wife, Billiann along with two children Isaac and Storm; his daughter, Hadassah Moore-Williams and husband, Jeremy Sr. and three children, Alayzah, Haylen and Jeremy Jr.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
