Michael Shane Lemmings

Michael Shane Lemmings, age 45 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at his home in Mustang, Oklahoma. A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Tommy Jesse will officiate, and casket bearers are Robert Dennie, Lane Lemmings, Kyle Lemmings, Ashton Dennie, Patrick Lemmings, and Brien Lemmings.  Honorary bearers are Anthony Lemmings, Billy Kirkwood, Kenneth Richardson, Ray Lemmings, Kyle Compton, Jaidyn Underwood, Kameron Richardson, and Todd Carpenter. Michael was born April 18, 1973 in Oklahoma City to Jerry R. Lemmings and Rhonda Gay (Dennie) Lemmings.  He attended Konawa schools, and he was a certified welding inspector for the pipeline industry.  He married Kristin Keeling on October 24, 2014 in Ada, Oklahoma.  Michael loved to go fishing and to watch OU football.  He was a loving husband, son, father, brother, and nephew.  He never met a stranger, and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Kristin Lemmings of the home; father, Jerry Lemmings and wife, Nancy of Midwest City, Oklahoma; mother, Rhonda Dennie of Newalla, Oklahoma; one son, Lane Lemmings of Greely, Colorado; one daughter, Courtney Eichorn and husband, Bryan of Greely, Colorado; two brothers, Brien Lemmings and his wife, Evon Sallee, of Newalla, Oklahoma, Patrick Lemmings and wife, Ginger of Tecumseh; one sister, Melody Daniels and husband, Jim of Yukon, Oklahoma; one cousin (like a brother), Ashton Dennie of Castle, Oklahoma; three uncles, Danny Dennie, Ronnie Lemmings, and Paul Lemmings; one aunt, Janie Jackson; two nephews, Kyle and Gavin Lemmings; two nieces, Kara and Audrey Lemmings; and many cousins. He was preceded by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Audrey Dennie; paternal grandparents, Alton and Francis Lemmings; one aunt, Sammie Dennie; and two uncles, Randy Dennie and Raymond Lemmings.
