Merle Ollie (Ray) Sanders a longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed away June 28, 2008 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 91.rnrnMerle, was born February 17, 1918 in Clarksville, Arkansas to George Arthure "Ollie" and Beulah May (Dalton) Ray. Merle, married Edward Frank Sanders, April 1936 in Wetumka, Oklahoma and they moved to Seminole in 1952. Frank preceded her in death.rnrnMerle was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God church.rnrnMrs. Sanders is survived by her son; David Sanders of Seminole, Oklahoma. Four brothers; Jim Ray of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Hartsel Ray of Kentucky, Shifford Ray of Wetumka, Oklahoma and M.L. Ray of Mississippi. She is also survived by three grandchildren.rnrnGraveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole. Rev.
