May Sue (Foster) Scott, age 55 and long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, October 2nd, at Carl Albert Indian Health System Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. A Wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5th, at High Springs Baptist Church of Konawa. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6th, at High Springs Baptist Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa. Burial will follow at the Foster Family Cemetery in Konawa. Houston Tiger and Dorsey Nero will officiate. Pallbearers are Robert Wood, Harry Douglas, Jason Tiger, Johnny Micco, George Johnson, and Barton Joe Looney. Honorary Pallbearers are John Glover, Michael Smith, Cody Barker, Shelby Gattenby, Aaron Ingram, and Matt Harjo. May was born on March 11, 1954, in Konawa, Oklahoma, to Katherine (Harjo) and Issac Newton Foster. She married Luke Scott, and she was a seamstress for Michael’s Casuals in Konawa. May was a member of the High Springs Baptist Church of Konawa. She lived in Konawa for most of her life. She is survived by her husband, Luke Scott of the home; one son, Nathan Cobb of Konawa, Oklahoma; two daughters, Nadine Gattenby of Konawa, and Charlene Cobb of Konawa; her mother, Katherine Foster of Seminole, Oklahoma; six brothers, Allen Foster of Harjo, Oklahoma, Herman Foster of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Matthew Foster of Edmond, Oklahoma, Adam Foster of Konawa, Issac Foster, Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Bill Foster of Konawa; and one grandchild, Ember May Ingram. She was preceded in death by her father, Issac Newton Foster, and one niece, Tabitha Foster.
