Matthew Shane Palmer, 22 Matthew Shane Palmer a resident of Macomb, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the age of 22. Matthew was born June 3, 1994, in Midwest City, Oklahoma to parents, Stacy Shane Palmer and Vanessa Carter. Matthew was employed at the Firelake Grand Casino as a security guard. Matthew graduated from Asher High School in 2012, where he was very active in basketball and baseball. He was an all-state baseball player. Matthew loved to play video games, and enjoyed going to Thunder games with his dad. He loved outside activities, like playing with his dog “Gunner”, disc golf, hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved his family and friends whom he loved to be with. He did all he could to make them happy. He loved and helped the children that he came in contact with. Matthew had that ability to light up a room with his smile. Matthew is survived by the love of his life, fiance’ Felecia Cope of Macomb, Oklahoma; his parents, Stacy and Amy Palmer of St. Louis, Oklahoma; grandparents, Jack and Pat Oblander of Saint Louis, Oklahoma, Terry and Tricia Palmer of Maud, Oklahoma, Lewis and Kay Hatfield of Moore, Oklahoma; three sisters, Kelsie Lemons of Seminole, Oklahoma, Taylor Kimmel of Moore, Oklahoma, Taylor Pickett of Holdenville, Oklahoma; aunts, Tavie Palmer of Maud, Oklahoma, Debbie Pannell and her husband, Kevin of Del City, Oklahoma, Regina Heath of Smyrna, Tennessee; uncles, Trent Palmer of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Mike Palmer of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Chris Palmer of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, Mike Rowlett of Del City, Oklahoma. Matthew was preceded in death by great grandparents, Floyd and Lillian Buley; Lillard Terry “TBoy” Palmer, Mildred Berniece (Duncan) Palmer; great grandparents, Hazel Lucille Seward; second cousins David and Beryl Buley, and Angela Nichols; great aunt Janet (Palmer) Brock; great uncle, Jerry M. Pack; childhood friends, Jayce Sheffield, Quinton Pitts, Jr.. Funeral services will be held at 2:45 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2017 at Asher High School Gymnasium of Asher, Oklahoma. Burial will take place at the Family Cemetery in St. Louis, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Trent Boles, Zack Fowler, C.J. Sisco, Phillip Lamirand, Hunter Fowler, A.J. Robbins, Tyler Landrum, Damian Doshier, Dakota Magby, Fred Oliphant and Aaron A.P. Pybas. Honorary casket bearers are: Nickolas Wallen, Todd Brock, Tyray Brock, Dakota Yott, Ty Flanigan, David Flanagan, Thomas Cope, Cody Barnett, Nick Brinker, and David Michael Conatser.
