Matthew Dean Grace, longtime Seminole resident, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the age of 18. Matthew was born September 28, 1993 in Midwest City, Oklahoma to Roy Lee Grace and Jaric Ann (Kleckner). He attended Harrah Elementary Schools and later attended Seminole Public Schools through his junior year. Matthew wanted to return to Harrah High School and was due to graduate with honors in May. Matthew was also attending Seminole State College concurrently and was currently on the Presidents Honor Roll. Matthew organized the first ever “See You At The Pole” at Harrah and did so on his 18th birthday, September 28, 2011. At Seminole High School Matthew was active in football, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honors Society, Who’s Who Among High School Students and various other clubs and organizations. Matthew loved God and often was a mentor to other youth. Matthew’s dream was to be a Youth Minister. He enjoyed going to Falls Creek with his First Baptist Church of Seminole family and also took mission trips to Chicago and Dallas. Matthew also played the bass guitar in the praise band at First Baptist Church. Matthew was employed at Frontier City in Oklahoma City and made new friends with co-workers. He always had a smile and brought joy to everyone around him. Matthew is survived by his mother Jaric Ann (Kleckner) Sathers and husband Mike of the home; his father, Roy Lee Grace and wife Rebecca of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sisters, Taylor Wright and Emma Simmons of the home; three brothers, Trevor and Troy Grace of Corpus Christi, Texas and Riley Sathers of the home; grandparents, Chris and Janice Sullins of Moore, Richard and Marie-Paul Kleckner of Arcadia, Terry and Karen Grace of Seminole and Lavetta and Larry Roth of McLoud; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Immanuel Fellowship in Seminole with Colt Kreeger officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Kody Kerley, Israel Haney, Garrett Clark, Eddie Ray Reynolds, Brandon McDonald, Christian Kemp and Bobby Lamoureux.
