Matt Daniel

Matt Jared Daniel, 36, Shawnee resident, died Thursday, July 9, 2015 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Matt was born January 24, 1979 in Ada, Oklahoma to Jimmy Lee and Mary (Morman) Daniel. Matt graduated from Seminole High School in 1997. He was currently a car salesman at Hudiburg Auto Group, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; formerly had worked for several years for Bachman Oilfield Services. He loved to hunt, fish, was a big New York Yankee fan, loved OU Football and Kansas basketball. However his main love in life was his daughter, Madison, who meant the world to him. Matt is survived by his mother, Mary Daniel of Shawnee, Oklahoma, his father, Jim Daniel and his wife Paula of Cromwell, Oklahoma, Matt’s  daughter, Madison Daniel of Edmond, Oklahoma and her mother Allison; his brother Eric Daniel and his wife Shelley of Cromwell, Oklahoma, and their children, Cooper Johnson and Carson Daniel; three step-sisters, Jennifer Smart, Jamie Stricklin, and Jill Smart.  He was also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Eugene and Lois Daniel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Nick Atyia officiating.
