Mary Harjo

Lifelong Seminole county resident Mary Jane Harjo passed away on January 10, 2007 at the age 71 at her home.rnrnShe was born on June 26, 1935 in Bowlegs, Oklahoma to Jimpsey and Sally (Narcomey) Carbitcher. She was married to Johnson Harjo, he preceded her in death in Nov. of 1991.rnrnShe was a retired seamstress and homemaker.rnrnShe is survived by three sons; Raymond Harjo of Norman, Oklahoma, Curtis Harjo of Maud, Oklahoma, and Darrin Harjo of Holdenville, Oklahoma, four daughters; Phyllis Harjo of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Yolanda Harrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Debra Emarthle of Roff, Oklahoma, and Lynda Harrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two brothers; Lewis Wise of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, and James Billie of Florida.rnrnShe is also survived by twenty four grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren.rnrnShe is preceded in death by her mother and father, husband, one sister, Saphornie Brown, sons, Vincent Harjo, and Christopher Daniels, brothers, Jimmy Carbitcher, Webster Wise, and Andrew Wise-Talamsey and Babe Adams.rnrnPallbearers will be Terry Wise, Jimpsey Carbitcher, Buffalo Hill, Eric Yahola, Ricky Harjo and Isiah Fixico.rnrnHonorary Bearers will be grandsons and nephews.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Monday, January 15, 2007 at Sand Creek Church with Houston Tiger officiating.
