Mary May (Jensen) Guinn passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at the age of 89. She was born in Hennessey Oklahoma on May 3, 1924 to James Peter Jensen and Elizabeth (Scheulen) Jensen. She was the youngest of six children. She and Leo E. “Gene” Guinn were married on December 1, 1949 in Tulsa, Ok. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. During their life together they lived in six states and Venezuela. She and Leo traveled extensively visiting 47 of the 50 states. She was an avid fisherman and camper and enjoyed many summers camping in the Uintah Mountains in Utah visiting her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years Leo “Gene” Guinn of the home, her daughter and son-in-law, Neatha Kay and Joseph Johnston of Salt Lake City, UT., her three sons and daughters-in-law, Nathan E. and Mary Guinn, Konawa, OK, Jimmy Ray and Colleen Guinn, Vernal, UT and Robert Charles and Anna Guinn, Vernal, UT, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers Bill and Norbert and three sisters Jaqueta, Bea and Regina. A Wake will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Konawa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, June 25th at 7:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 26th at 2:00pm.
