Mary Ann Glenn of Bowlegs passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at the age of 85.

Mary, the daughter of Roger and Cora (McBroom) Chandler, was born December 27, 1935 in Bowlegs.  She graduated from Bowlegs High School with the class of 1954.  On June 6, 1954, Mary married George Mickel Glenn, in Bowlegs.  Mary spent most of her life in Bowlegs, where she was a proud member of the Bowlegs Assembly of God Church, where she served at the church secretary for many years.  Mary loved crocheting, taking care of her grandkids and great grandkids, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Juanita Stafford; a daughter, Janet Walker; and a nephew, William Stafford.

Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Glenn and wife Stacy of Seminole; daughter and son-in-law, Shereata Ellis and husband Carl, of Seminole; seven grandchildren, Kirby Glenn and wife Michelle of Shawnee, Cody Ellis and wife Melody of Seminole, Laci Walker of Oklahoma City, Tyler Walker of Sweetwater Texas, Blake Glenn and wife Sabrina of Bowlegs, Bailey Glenn of Seminole and Kolbi Glenn of Oklahoma City; 13 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kirby Glenn, Tyler Walker, Cody Ellis, Bailey Glenn, and Blake Glenn.

Viewing will be Friday, August 20, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

A graveside service will be Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at the Little Cemetery in Seminole.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
