Mary Louise Everett, Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 87. Mary was born May 19, 1931 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to parents, George Hamilton Coats and Ethel Ada (Hammons) Coats. Mary attended Konawa Public School, earned an associate degree from St. Gregory of Shawnee, Oklahoma, a degree in special education from ECU of Ada, Oklahoma. Mary was the special education teacher for the St. Louis, Okemah schools and Faith 7 at St. Gregory University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maud and the First Baptist Church of Seminole; she always played piano at church. She served as a volunteer for Falls Creek and missions trips to Mexico.    Mary married Hubert Everett, Jr. on July 27, 1952 in Ada, Oklahoma, sadly Hubert passed away September 25, 1994. Mary is survived by three sons; Jody Everett and his wife Patty of Buda, Texas, Jimmy Everett and his wife Peggy of China, Texas, Jeff Everett and Milre Henry of Saint Louis, Oklahoma; two daughters, Anita Duennenberg of Bandera, Texas, Mechelle Downey and her husband Mike of Seminole, Oklahoma; one sister, Nellie Lemmings and her husband Wendell of Wewoka, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Irma White of Witchita, Kansas; four grandchildren, Benjamin “Ben” Everett, Nicolas Everett, Stephen Downey, Jessica Downey; one great grandchild Nora Downey. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Coats, husband, Hubert Everett; two brothers, Ray and Reed Coats; four sisters, Juanita Most, Gladys Alexander, Helen Strayhorn and Joyce Lynch. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Maud with pastor Bobby Shatto officiating. Burial will take place at Cummings Cemetery, Maud, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Billy Downey, Nicolas Everett, Benjamin Everett, Stephen Downey, Mike Downey and Jeff Everett.
