Mary Ann Crain–Lindsey, 56 year-old, life long Seminole and Pottawatomie County resident passed from this life Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Unity North Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  She was born October 13, 1953 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Willie Lindsey and Lizzie (Coody) Lindsey. Mary graduated from Jones Academy in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. She was a tribal member of the Seminole Nation.  She later worked for Wrangler Jean Manufacturer in Seminole, Oklahoma for over 25 years. Mary is survived by her spouse, Jerry Crain of Maud, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Ollie Tiger of Konawa, Oklahoma; seven brothers, Eugene Lindsey, Walter Gene Lindsey, Alex Lindsey, Thomas Lindsey, Bobby Jack Spencer, Leroy Mitchell all of Seminole, Oklahoma and Jimmy Lindsey of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Augustine Lindsey of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Dallas Tiger, Caitlyn Tiger and Kaleb Tiger all of Konawa, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Mary is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Russell Crain who died in 1993; one brother, Charles Lindsey; one sister, Bertha Deere; and by her mother and father-in-law, E.U. and Ruth Crain. A wake service will be held 6:00 p.m., Friday evening, February 19, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.  Rev. Houston Tiger and Jempsey Harjo will officiate.  Interment will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud, Oklahoma. Casket Bearers will be: Tim Lindsey, Tracy Lindsey, Frank Lindsey, Ricky Lindsey, Sammy Spencer, Max Fixico and Kyle Coody. Honorary Bearers will be: Kenneth Coody and Ollie Tiger. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
