She was born July 16, 1913 in Baldhill, Oklahoma to parents Thomas Lowery and Mary Edin (Mallory) Dunagan.rnrnMary married Carl Evan Brown on November 2, 1932 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. In 1933 they moved to Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnMrs. Brown was a homemaker who was a member of the Bowlegs First Baptist Church and was also active with the Eastern Star, Rebecca's and the L.A.P.M. "Lady's Auxiliary Patriarch Militant" organizations.rnrnMrs. Brown leaves to cherish her memory two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale & Terry Brown of Slidell, Louisiana and Carl Lee & Ginger Brown of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo brothers and sisters-in-law, Willard & Eldora Dunagan of Morris, Oklahoma and George & Jeannie Dunagan of Arcola, Illinois.rnrnThree sisters and brothers-in-law, Eva & Van Anderson of Arcola, Illinois, Irene Anson of Seminole, Oklahoma and Naomi & Eugene Rothrock of Arcola, Illinois.rnrnAlso surviving are 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.rnrnMrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl Evan Brown who died on August 29, 1976 and by one sister, Maxine Culver.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doyle Pryor officiating.rnrnInterment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, OKlahoma.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home - 100 West Strothers Ave. - Seminole, Oklahoma 74868.
