Mary Azlin

Longtime Maud resident Mary Ann Azlin passed away on January 31, 2007 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 69. rnrnShe was born on July 31, 1937 in Maud, Oklahoma to Dewey Belton and Effie Elizabeth (Shelton) Silas. She married Gene Azlin in Wewoka, Oklahoma in March of 1965. She was a retired cook for Maud Schools where she worked for over thirty years. She loved to read, cook and watch her grandkids play sports. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. rnrnShe is survived by husband Gene Azlin of the home, one son, Jimmy Wayne Hanks of Ponca City, Oklahoma, three daughters; Terri Colvin of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Vicki Hanks of Maud, Oklahoma, and Linda Azlin of Maud, Oklahoma. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Billy Colvin, Jimmy Hanks, Jr., Jacob Vloedman, Chris Colvin, Terra Vloedman, Jessica Farani, Eddie Hanks and Garon Nelson. Nine great grandchildren; Kyla, Chandler and Landon Colvin, Michael, Hannah and Isabella Hanks, Aden and Heaven Bond and Bryler Lewis. rnrnA memorial service is scheduled for 2:00pm, Monday, February 5, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Maud, Oklahoma with Rev.
