Marvin Walker

Marvin Dale Walker, 29 year-old, former Seminole County, Tecumseh and Norman resident fell victim of a homicide in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 7, 2011.  He was born February 19, 1982 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents Cecil Lamont Walker and Kathy Jean (Claunch) Walker. Survivors include his mother, Kathy Walker of Purcell, Oklahoma; two sons, Skyler Hensely of Hinton, Oklahoma and Morgan Stouffer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one brother, Jermaine Walker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two sisters, Lisa Walker of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Sandy McGuire of Purcell, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Marvin is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Walker and by his grandparents, Maggie and Leonard Franklin. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Union Missionary Baptist Church located at the corner of Farrall and Bell Streets in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Rev. Darryl Fields will officiate the service. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
