Marvin G. “ Bo” Clymer, 90, longtime Seminole resident died, Monday, March 24, 2014 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Bo was born on February 5, 1924 to Iva (Reavis) and Grover Clymer, at Pernell, Oklahoma. Bo was active in the Seminole and surrounding area oilfields, which he loved and worked at until his death. He served in the U.S. Navy as a Coxswan Mate from January 5, 1944 to March 3, 1946 in active duty during World War II in the Philippines. Bo was a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Seminole, Oklahoma. He married Mary H. (Arnold) Emerson on August 28, 1964. Bo is survived by his wife Mary Clymer of Seminole, Oklahoma, one sister Bonnie Gardner of Las Vegas, Nevada, one special sister-in-law, Sally Christopher of Seminole, his nieces, Sharon Murray-Sliva of Orlando, Florida, Sue Arnold, Jackie Acree, and Jamie H. Frazier along with numerous other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in Seminole, Oklahoma with Bobby Allen officiating.
