Mark Alan Lee, 48, Seminole resident, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at his home in Seminole County. Mark was born June 15, 1971 in Pensacola, Florida. Mark lived in many different places during his lifetime but always came back to Seminole, where he called home.
Mark was a Desert Storm Combat Veteran, serving as a SP4 in the United States Army and AH-64 Apache Crew Chief, His group was the first to attack during the war. He was stationed in Kuwait. Mark was a member of the DAV and VFW Post 1317 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Mark loved fishing, hunting, riding horses, going to rodeos, spending time at the family ranch and smoking meat in the backyard, he loved gardening, growing tomatoes and peppers. Mark worked hard all his life since he was a teenager working for the family roofing company. He was a good husband, and He and Melissa were married for 20 years, he was a good father to Darien and Joshua .
Mark is survived by his wife Melissa Eve (Harris) Lee, they were married on October 31, 2000 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he is also survived by his mother; Lisa Lee, his two sons, Darien Harris-Lee and Joshua Harris-Lee both of Seminole, Oklahoma, two brothers Jerry Lee and his wife Rebecca and Gary Lee and his wife Toni and his sister Terri Lee, he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and Harry Sr.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert E. Lee, his grandparents Harry and Cuba Coates, mother-in-law Teri Harris, his cousin and best friend Jeremy Coates.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Little Cemetery, with Rev. Carl Whitfield. Military honors will be provided by the United States Army.
Casket bearers will be Michael Harris, Adam Harris, Darien Harris-Lee, Joshua Harris-Lee, Theophilus Ballard III, and Theophilus Ballard IV.
Honorary Bearers will be Dominqe Ballard, D.J. Ballard, Makalay Ballard, Carlos Ballard, Bobbie, Ballard.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, in Seminole, Oklahoma.
