Longtime Seminole resident Mark Wayne Davis passed away on February 21, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 36. rnrnHe was born on September 14, 1972 in Sherman, Texas to Ralph and Opal (Blevins) York. rnrnHe graduated from Varnum High School in 1991 and worked at Wal-Mart as a stocker. He was an excellent artist and loved to oil paint and sketch. He also loved to make people laugh. rnrnHe is survived by his mother and father, Ralph and Opal York of Seminole, Oklahoma, life partner Ron Vaughn of the home, brothers, William Gentry of Brownwood, Texas, Phillip Gentry and George Gentry of Illinois, and Sam Gentry of Dallas, Texas, Michael York and Clarence York all of Tahlequah, John Padilla of Shawnee and Thomas York of Seminole, Oklahoma, sisters, Judy Harrington of Maud, Oklahoma, Sam Waltman of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Tina York of Houston, Texas. rnrnA private family memorial service is scheduled.
