Lay, Steven Chote & Clarence Dill officiating.rnrnInternment is to follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.rnrnGalpin, 81, passed from this life Friday, August 11, 2006 at her home. She was born August 30, 1924 in Eldorado, Kansas to Earl Vernon Dill and Alta Lenore Waterman Dill.rnrnThe family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1960, where she resided for 30 years until retirement. She moved to cedar City, Utah and lived for eight years before returning to Oklahoma in 1995.rnrnIn 1939 she married Harold Lee Bradbury in the Nazarene Church Parsonage in Holdenville. He preceded her in death September 7, 1974.rnrnOn September 20, 1988 she married Norman Galpin in Cedar City, Utah. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2002.rnrnGalpin was employed as a medical assistant and was active in the Nevada Medical Assistant Association, of which she was a former State President.rnrnShe worked for the Nevada State Health Department in teberculosis control from 1965 until 1970.rnrnGalpin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.rnrnHer parents; and infant baby brother; son, Daniel Bradbury (Jan. 26, 1994); great-granddaughter, Brandi Sester (May 30, 2006) and brother, Earl Dill, Jr. (July 3, 2006) preceded her in death.rnrnSurviving is son, David Bradbury of Lompoc, California; two daughters, Patsy Parsons and Jane Taylor both of Seminole, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Sandra Galpin Pittman of Portland, Oregon; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren; two great -great grandchildren and one brother Clarence W. Dill of Tulsa, Oklahoma.rnrnCasket bearers will be her grandsons, James Parsons, Daniel Taylor, Lance Bradbury, Scott Bradbury, David Jr. Bradbury, Drew Evans, Preston Gilmore and Aaron Lohman.
