Marilyn Jeanne Brown, 72, Earlsboro resident, died Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her home. Marilyn was born May 9, 1943 in Long Beach, California to Freddy Gould and Jessie Ferna (McGregor) Gould. Marilyn came to the Seminole area ten years ago from Ponca City, Oklahoma. Marilyn was a loving mother and housewife, and a former member of the Red Hat Society. She loved playing bingo, watching the N.C.I.S. TV program, was an avid quilter and a member of the Seminole Patchwork area quilting guild. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Clyde Brown, Jr. of the home; two sons Mark Allen Huffman of Wyandotte, Oklahoma and Scott Lang Huffman of Kingman, Kansas, her daughter Shawnee Lee Huffman of Albany, Kentucky, three step-children, Mona Brown, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Fred Brown, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and Michael Brown, New York, New York, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and her caregiver Bonnie Demings. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Michael Neal Huffman. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Honorary Bearers will be Zack Classan, Jeremy Huffman, Dillon Huffman, Tylor Vohn, Tony Huffman, Mark Huffman, Jr., Harold Huffman and Todd Haddock.
