Seminole resident Marie Harbeston passed away on July 10, 2007 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 91.rnrnShe was born on June 23, 1916 in Maud, Oklahoma to Giles and Ola (Flesher) Horn. She married Edwin H. Harbeston on November 23, 1933 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in November of 1999.rnrnMarie was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole. She was a grocery checker for 25 years at Carlton?s IGA in Seminole. She loved walking at the track with her three walking buddies. rnrnMarie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth and Joyce Harbeston of Seminole, one brother, Roland Horn of Portland, Oregon. One Sister Mary Hamner Johnson of Yukon, Oklahoma. rnShe is also survived by two grandchildren: Tamra and Mitchell Hennen of Seminole and Amy and Kenneth Fent of Springfield, Missouri, four great grandchildren: Andrew and Brandi Hennen, and Mark and Erica Hennen of Seminole, Angel and Cory McKee and Caleb Fent of Springfield, Missouri and five great great grandchildren: Taylor Hennen, Jaedon Hennen, Asher Hennen, and Maggie and Silas McKee.rnrnMrs. Harbeston?s Mother died at an early age and she took on the responsibility of raising her younger sister, Mary, and she along with her 3 children Jackie, Gary and Terry survive her.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Friday, July 13, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Fent officiating.
