Marguerite Ann Newcomb passed away on March 15, 2011, in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 82. She was born on March 8, 1929, in Peoria, Illinois to Louis Jacob Bales and Rose Mae Groth Bales.  Marguerite worked for Cargill Turkey Factory in California, Missouri where she retired after 30 years. She married Lavern Newcomb on March 6, 1951 in Middlegrove, Illinois; he preceded her in death in October, 2003. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons and daughters in law; David and Jean Newcomb of California, Missouri and Tim and Brenda Newcomb of Jefferson City, Missouri, three daughters and sons-in-law: Bonnie and Rick Hanson of Seminole, Oklahoma, Verna and Mike Qualls of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Jane Newcomb of Mexico, Missouri, one brother Delbert Bales of Vaccaville, California and two sisters and a brother-in-law: June and Robert Greenfield of Hannah City, Illinois and Orleta Hindert Peoria, Illinois.  She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A family visitation is scheduled at the Bowlin – Cantriel Funeral Chapel, 100 South Oak, California, Missouri on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Bowlin - Cantriel Funeral Chapel in California, Missouri with Rev.
