Margaret White

Margaret Ann (Moreland) White, 59 year-old, Seminole County resident passed from this life on Friday, November 30, 2012 at her home.  She was born September 6, 1953 to parents Bill Moreland and Elsie Mae (Jackson) Moreland. Margaret attended Shawnee Schools and on March 21, 1969 she married Freddie Joe White in Chandler, Oklahoma.  The couple moved to Seminole County 37 years ago from Shawnee, Oklahoma.  Margaret was a homemaker and a construction worker.  She was also a member of the Free Indeed Ministries in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Freddie Joe White of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ulysses Jodean “Jody” White and his wife Janell of Bethel, Oklahoma and Marcus “Shawn” White and his wife Anne of Earlsboro, Oklahoma; one daughter, Kimberly Dawn “Kim” Oswald of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one sister and brother-in-law, Bernice Elizabeth “Liz” Young and her husband Tracy of Shawnee, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Jaylee White, Adrianna White, Lindsay Keene, Lauren Keene, Landon Rodriguez, Derek White-Edwards, Lexi White, Ashley Oswald and Darren Oswald; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Berry, Kori Cahoon and Bentley Lane; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and dear friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her father, Bill Moreland; her mother Elsie Mae (Jackson) Moreland-Kirkendall; one sister, Linda Harris; three brothers, Billy Moreland, Larry Moreland and Lloyd Moreland; and by one great-grandchild, Righteous Oswald. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Guy Cagle officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery north of Seminole. Casket Bearers will be: Barry Estell, Darren Oswald, Tim Sullivan, Michael Young, Michael Krueger and Tim Krueger. Honorary Casket Bearers will be: Derek White-Edwards, Jesse Lovette and Landon Rodriguez. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
