Margaret McDonald Scott, 82 year-old, longtime Barnegat, New Jersey resident passed from this life on August 16, 2007 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born June 20, 1925 to parents Stephen McDonald and Margaret (McAvoy) McDonald in Chicago, Illinois.rnrnMargaret married Arthur S. Scott in Flushing, New York on May 20, 1951. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1998. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Barnegat, New Jersey.rnrnMargaret moved to Seminole, Oklahoma from New Jersey about a year ago to be close to her daughter.rnrnSurvivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Debbie Scott of Greensburg, PA.rnrnThree daughters and sons-in-law; Peggy & John Lichtenberger of Tucson, AZ, Kathie & Bill Avery of Batavia, NY, and Barbara & Craig Froelich of Seminole, OK.rnrnOne brother and sister-in-law, Bernard & Peggy McDonald of Lakewood, NJ.rnrnTen grandchildren also survive her; Catherine Scott, Ginny Brill, Kionna Scott-McGrail, Charley Scott-McGrail, Hannah Scott-McGrail, Trevor Avery, Kelsey Scott-Avery, Nathaniel Scott-Avery, Jakob Froelich and Matthew Froelich. And one great-grandchild, Aiden Guthrie.rnrnMargaret is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister Sally McFarlane and by one brother Stephen McDonald.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Barnegat, New Jersey.
