Margaret Ford

Margaret Ann (Mauney) Ford, 78 year old longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Murrieta, California.  She was born July 15, 1940 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to parents Mary Lee (Edmondson) Mauney and Francis H. Mauney.  Margaret along with her husband Fred owned and operated Daylight Donuts for several years in Seminole. Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole.  She was also an active member of the Pink Ladies at Seminole Hospital. Survivors include one son, Doug Ford and his wife Glenda of Seminole, Oklahoma; two daughters, Terri Ford Oslin of Seminole, Oklahoma, Drusilla "Dru" Cory of Vista, California; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a host of other family and dear friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband of 40 years, Fred Lee Ford who died July 2, 1995, by one brother, Bob Mauney, by two sisters, Doris Johnson, Mary Staff and by one great granddaughter, Alexis Ford. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Strothers Historic Chapel located in Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole with Matt Pollock officiating the service.
