Marcella Ann (Wakatani) “Marcy” Haycox, 51 year-old, Oklahoma City resident and former Seminole County resident passed from this life on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.  She was born May 25, 1962 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to parents Kiyoshi Wakatani and Lola Kristine (Lindsey) Wakatani. Marcy was a homemaker and a member of the Little Quasarty Indian Baptist Church in Cromwell, Oklahoma. Marcy leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Kristine Lindsey of Chicago, Illinois, four daughters, Lola Wakatani of Birchwood, Tennessee, Jessica Vickery-Wakatani of Lawton, Oklahoma, Dorlia Haycox of Bethany, Oklahoma and Shawna Haycox of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Other survivors include one brother, Michael Wakatani of Chicago, Illinois and three sisters, Gretchen Wakatani of Appleton, Wisconsin, Dorena Nero of Chicago, Illinois, Tina Wakatani of Houston, Texas, and seven grandchildren.  Marcy is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends. Her father, Kiyoshi Wakatani, preceded Marcy in death. A wake service is scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Eddie Joe Lindsey officiating.  Interment will follow at Lindsey Family Cemetery north of Wewoka, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
