Marc Don Brennan, age 40, passed away September 23, 2020 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Marc was born February 19, 1980 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to parents Lawrence D. Brennan and Retta C. (Fife) Brennan. He grew up in Maud and Asher and was currently living in Shawnee. He graduated from Latta High School in 1999 and attended Seminole State College and East Central University and played baseball at all of these schools.
Marc worked as an oilfield pipeline journeyman for Union Pipeline 798. He enjoyed watching baseball games, especially the New York Yankees and OU football games. He liked Star Wars, DC and Marvel collectables and fixing and repairing things and fishing with his sons.
Marc leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Lawrence and Retta Brennan, his sons; Avery and Aidan Brennan of Ada, Oklahoma, his daughters; Carys, Kaia, Kele and Asher Brennan of Ada, Oklahoma, his sisters; Nadia R. Brennan and Courtny S. Brennan and her wife Richay Brennan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Winfred B. Fife, Nema Harjo Fife and Lawrence D. Brennan, Sr., uncles; Donald Ray Fife, Tom Brennan and Terry Brennan and great grandmother; Annie Gooden.
Viewing for Marc will be from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Swearingen Funeral Home, 1001 N. Milt Phillips Avenue, Seminole, Oklahoma.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2020 at the First Baptist Church, 420 Reid Street in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Frank Moppin, Rev. Larry Hawkins and Rev. Eddie Gooden officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, North of Seminole.
Casket bearers will be Mister Reyes, Levi Harjo, Blake Fife, Sterlin Harjo, Jason Brennan, James Bear, Jake Leba and Kris Jones. Honorary bearers will be Corye Chino, Tony Fife, James Fife, Bradley Hawkins, Johnson Scott, Adrian Harjo, Levi Lehman, Coby Lehman, Zac Horton, Isaac Borjas, Travis Caudle, James Kinsey, Jarod Hile, Robert Thomas and Cody Lout.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
