Mae Wise

Mae Wise, 69 year old Seminole County resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 5, 2018 near Konawa, Oklahoma, at the home of her daughter and son-in-laws, Carrie and Doug Isaacs, with her loving family by her side. Mae was born May 14, 1949 at her childhood home in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Lewis Wise and Mandy (Tiger) Wise. Mae was a member of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma (the Hvteyievlke Band). Mae was a member of the Indian Mission Pentecostal Church in Konawa, Oklahoma.  She also loved feeding and watching the birds, watching “The Price Is Right”, sewing native patchwork, making meat pies, visiting family and family get-togethers. Mae also loved to go out to eat.  She enjoyed picking wildflowers and wild onions. She also loved seeing Ellie Mae Brown, her granddaughter's Yorky puppy! Mae worked for Walmart in Seminole, Oklahoma until her retirement. Mae leaves to cherish her memories 3 daughters, Carrie (Wise) Isaacs and her husband Doug of Konawa, Oklahoma, Jennifer Lowe Webb of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Devon Lowe of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 4 brothers, Evans Wise and his wife Teresa of Meeker, Oklahoma, Joe Wise of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Terry Wise and his wife Chenena of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Gerald Wise and his wife Lydia of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 3 sisters, Annie Dixon and her husband Jim Locust of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Charline Lowe and her husband Jerry of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Geraldine Little and her husband David of Seminole, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, Braydon Cornelius, Elda Brown, Erin Colbert, Silas Isaacs, Moses Isaacs, Taitlyn Webb, Kalan Webb, Alan Webb Jr., Hayden Gokey, Gabriella Gokey, Tessabella Dorsey; future great grandchildren baby Brown and Kaisen Colbert. Mae is also survived by 27 counting of nieces and nephews and a host of other family and dear friends. Mae is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Mandy Wise, by one daughter, Erin Rene Lowe, by four brothers and by two sisters. A wake service is scheduled for Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 9, 2018 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. David Little and Rev. Arthur Carpitcher officiating the service.  Interment will follow at the England Family Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be: Joseph Billie, Jason Wise, Jake Wise, Aaron Brown, Blaine Wise, Koby Colbert and C.J. Bear. Honorary Bearers will be: Micheal England, Jr. Wolf, Johnson Hulbutta, Larry England, Anthony Hall and Johnny Wolf. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
