Mae Lee (Jackson) Stargell departed this life on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Unity Health Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnrnShe was born on June 22, 1918 to Porter ?P.J.? Jackson and Clora (Jones) Jackson. She lived in the Earlsboro & Shawnee area all of her life. She married her loving husband, Joe Stargell on February 26, 1938 and to this union was born nine children. She was a loving caring and sharing mother, grandmother and great grandmother.rnrnShe united with New Hope Baptist Church where she served as financial secretary for many years. She later united with Emmanuel Temple of Praise and Deliverance under the leadership of Pastor Odell Hardeman of Shawnee, Oklahoma. She loved her Pastor and Church family. She attended until she became disable to do so.rnrnShe is preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, two children, five brothers and eight sisters.rnrnShe is survived by her children and their spouses: Kenneth Ray & Willie Mae Stargell; Shirley & Lawfton Edwards; Randell & Wendell Stargell all of Shawnee, Oklahoma. JoAnn Hunter and Wanda Hinex of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Loretta & Harold Dejear of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Britney & Eric Stargell of the home; Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert & Blanch Mayes of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Son-in-law, Willie Hutchinson; Foster daughter, Beatric Anderson of Midwest City, Oklahoma.
