Longtime Konawa area resident Madge Juanita McAnally passed away on August 31, 2007 in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 98. She was born on December 5, 1908 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Ned B. and Grace (Force) Johnson.rnrnShe married Oscar M. McAnally on September 1, 1928 in Summers Chapel Area near Konawa. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1974.rnrnShe along with her family lived around the Hazel area near Konawa most her life; she attended Summers Chapel School and Konawa High School and attended the Methodist Church. In her earlier years she enjoyed square dancing and rodeos with her husband and children, gardening and her flowers. In her latter years she enjoyed arts and craft with the Senior Citizens. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Eva Moncrief and two brothers: Ray Johnson and Jack Johnson, two grandchildren. rnrnShe is survived by three sons: Don McAnally of Millersville, Missouri, Rich McAnally of McAlester, OK, Mitchell McAnally of Seminole, OK and three daughters: Margaret Matthews of Konawa, OK, Alice Irvin of Holdenville, OK and Linda Hardison of Palo Verde, Arizona.rnrnShe is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. rnrnVisitation will begin at 1:00pm, Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Konawa Funeral Chapel.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa with Rev.
