Longtime Seminole resident, Mable Lenora (Coston) Adams Lewis passed into eternal life on Thursday, May 31, 2012, in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was 90. Oscar and Alva Henrietta (Garner) Coston welcomed Mable into this world on December 18, 1921 in Hughes County near Holdenville, Oklahoma; she was their only child. Mable lived in and around Seminole all her life. She married Burna Adams in Holdenville, Oklahoma; he preceded her in death. On October 28, 2002 Mable married John Lewis in Shawnee, Oklahoma; John survives her of the home in Seminole. Mable retired from the Big Yank jean factory in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Throughout her life she loved to dance. Mable leaves to cherish her memory husband, John of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Winford Adams and wife Helen of Seminole, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Barbara Hail and husband Jim of Hennessey, Oklahoma; one step-son, John M. Lewis and wife Laurie of Bowlegs, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren, Saundra Rice, Donna Adams, Ronnie Adams, Brian Adams, and Billy Wayne Mooney; 15 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Mable was preceded in death by her parents, husband Burna Adams; three daughters, Norma Jean Bullock, Carol Miller and Glenda Kay Brown; two sons, Darrel Davis and Charles Adams. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6th, at Little Cemetery. Chris Stinnett will officiate. Visitation will take place at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole from Saturday, June 2 through Wednesday, June 6th.
