Lynda Gayle (Dobbs) Crouch, 69 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home in Seminole.  She was born November 27, 1949 in Paris, Texas to parents James Thurman Dobbs and Amye Juanita (Luster) Dobbs. Lynda grew up in Texas where she graduated from high school.  She later married James Allen Crouch. Lynda retired from the home care industry where she had worked all around Central Oklahoma. She attended the Lord’s Community Church in Seminole and loved to play bingo. Survivors include one son, Johnnie “Wayne” Painter of Livingston, Texas; one daughter, Stacy Painter of Katy, Texas; one brother, David Dobbs of Kansas; two sisters, Billie of Washington State, Terri of Arkansas; six grandchildren, Alison, Carli, Jordan, Tyler, Ryan and Jonathan; one great-grandchild Raylan; her very dear friend Connie "Chris" Smith of Seminole, Oklahoma; her former husband and the father of her children, Wayne Painter of Calvin, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband James Crouch who died April 25, 2011. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel located 1001 North Milt Phillips Ave. in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastors Jim and Nita Moreland officiating the service.  Interment will follow at Little Cemetery located on Hwy. 99 north of Seminole.
