Lueetta (Scott) Darr, 93 year-old, longtime Seminole resident went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2008 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She attended Old Glory Assembly of God Church for over 80 years and was a member for over 50 years. She loved children and taught the beginner?s class for many years. She loved raising flowers and enjoyed spending time with her children and working in her garden and raising Bantam chickens.rnrnShe was born August 29, 1914 in Roff, Oklahoma to parents Carl William Scott and Ida Mae (Brinlee) Scott.rnrnLueetta married Amel P. Darr on January 29, 1936 in Seminole County, Oklahoma. rnrnSurvivors include her husband of 72 years, Amel Darr of the home in Seminole, one son and daughter-in-law, Carl and his wife Helen Darr of Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnOther survivors include five grandchildren; Sharon Stanberry of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Martha Allen of Norman, Oklahoma; Bob Harrelson of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Sonya Hoselton of Seminole, Oklahoma and Kevin Darr of Seminole, Oklahoma. Twelve great grandchildren; Merry Rampergash, Rachael Detherage; Leah Neal; Annie Harrelson; Hayden Darr; Garrett Darr; Daniel Stanberry; Isaac Stanberry; Joshua Stanberry; Shelby Davis; Bradley Davis and Jessica Childers. Also surviving are four great great grandchildren;Elijah Rampergash, Ethan Rampergash, Samuel Dunn and Tommy Deatherage. She is also survived by a very special friend Bertha ?Mamaw? Mainord and familyrnand a host of other family and dear friends.rnrnMrs. Darr is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Louise Harrelson (2003); and by two brothers, J.C. Scott and Wendell Scott.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Rev. Eugene "Gene" Darr officiating the service and Rev. Allen Wood assisting.
