Lucy Elizabeth (Reichard) Anderson, 94 Lucy passed away Tuesday morning June 12, 2012 at Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 94. Elizabeth will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her passion to her family and the field of dance. She was born August 27, 1917 in Paola, Kansas to the late Mamie Marie Reichard and Walter Valentine Riechard. Elizabeth was a 1935 graduate of East Wichita High School. She then traveled as a professional dancer, performing across the country. She was a well known accomplished dancer and has appeared on the stage many times. She eventually opened a dance studio in Wichita, Kansas where she enjoyed teaching her students ball room dancing. Elizabeth was a devout Christian who attended church regularly and truly enjoyed painting, collecting antiques, jewelry and playing games with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Anderson is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford G. Anderson who passed away May 27, 1996; one sister, Drucilla Riechard; one brother, Al Reichard and stepdaughter, Janet Anderson. Mrs. Anderson is survived by one son; Chris Anderson of Wewoka, Oklahoma; three daughters; Lynn Stephan and her husband Don Stephan of Wichita, Kansas, Stevie Ladd and her husband Rob of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Judy Fechtner of Round Lake Beach, Illinois. She is also survived by six grandchildren; Christopher Anderson,Michael Anderson,Holly (Anderson) Hawks, Collin Anderson, Marc Techtner, Chloe Ladd, three great-grandchildren; Haley Hawks, Lucas Fechtner and Payton Fechtner. A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Wewoka, Oklahoma with Pastor Jay Badry.
