Lucille Timmons, 66, longtime Seminole resident died Thursday, February 11, 2010 at her home. Lucille was born April 28, 1943 in Whitesboro, Texas to Andrew Leo and Geneva Gertrude (Aaron) Miller. Lucille came to Seminole fifty-three years ago from Whitesboro, Texas. She married Bobby Timmons in Ada, Oklahoma on January 20, 1959. Mrs. Timmons was a homemaker and was a member of the Temple of Praise Church in Seminole. Lucille is survived by her husband Bobby Timmons of the home, four sons: James Timmons of Seminole, Oklahoma, Rickey Timmons of Las Banos, California, Daniel Timmons of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Ronnie Timmons of Seminole, Oklahoma. One daughter Renee’ Jordan of Mena, Arkansas. One brother Clyde Miller of Tulsa, Oklahoma and four sisters Leta Sutton of Edmond, Oklahoma, Mary Ann Busby of Arlington, Texas, Vera Lee Haney of Hereford, Texas, Juanita Stanley of Splendora, Texas. Six grandchildren also survive her; Tommy Timmons, James Timmons, Jr., Nicole Jordan, MaCayla Timmons, Rachel Timmons and Faith Timmons. She was preceded in death by her parents, a Grandson Brian Jordan, Brother Leo Miller, two sisters, Carolyn Campbell and Shirley Burton and her grandmother Vera Campbell. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday February 15, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Private burial services will take place at Little Cemetery at a later date.
