Louise (Stephens) Wegman

Louise (Stephens) Wegman, age 88 and a life-long resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Seminole Care and Rehab Center in Seminole, Oklahoma. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2015,  at Vista Cemetery West of Konawa, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.  Rev. Ed Bray, Pastor of Cross Timbers Church will officiate.   Louise was born on November 8, 1926 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Arch Stephens and Lillie (Bickerstaff) Stephens.  She graduated from Konawa High School and married William L. Wegman on May 2, 1952 in Konawa.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Konawa and worked as a secretary for a commercial laundry. She is survived by one son, Gary Wegman and wife, Marilyn of Konawa; two grandsons, Ronnie Wegman and wife, Tiffany of Konawa, and John DeMaris and wife, Voney also of Konawa; and six great-grandchildren, Kylie Wegman, Wyatt DeMaris, Ahdosy Wegman, Dixie Wegman, Jamian Sharber and Cameron Sharber. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arch and Lillie Stephens; husband, William Wegman; and one sister, Bonnie Bullington.
