Louise (Reynolds) Carpenter, 84 year-old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Monday, May 19, 2008 at her home in Seminole. She was born March 23, 1924 in Wilson, Oklahoma to parents Exie "Irene" (Hogue) Reynolds and Earl Reynolds.rnrnLouise married Norman Howard Carpenter on December 31, 1942 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. They lived in Ulysses, Kansas for 27 years, from 1961 to 1988, then returned to Seminole.rnrnLouise had worked as a cosmetologist and a homemaker, retiring in 1977. She loved to quilt and enjoyed needlepoint projects. But most of all she loved God and her family dearly. She and her husband have been active members of the First Baptist Church in Seminole.rnrnShe leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 65 years, Norman Carpenter of the home. Two sons and a daughter-in-law, Don Carpenter of Norman, Oklahoma and Rusty and his wife Allison Carpenter of Norman, Oklahoma.rnrnThree grandchildren also survive, Bret Carpenter of Norman, Oklahoma, Dustin and his wife Avery Carpenter of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Nicole Carpenter of Norman, Oklahoma.
