Louis Whatley, Earlsboro, Oklahoma resident, passed away April 28, 2020 in Seminole at the age of 65. He was born January 19, 1955 in Golden Beach, Oregon to parents Edward Louis Whatley and Marion Evelyn Reta Devault. He grew up in Hilmar, California and Shawnee, Oklahoma. He received his GED and was self employed as a sign painter. He enjoyed painting, fishing and playing his guitars. Louis is survived by his mother; Reta Rhodes of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, his brothers; Alan Todd Whatley and his wife Kathy of Earlsboro, Oklahoma and Leo Flynn Rhodes and his wife Kamisha M. Crowley of Shawnee, Oklahoma, his sister; Cleo Hutcheson and her husband Drew of Woodland, Washington and his daughter; Dori Whatley of Black Mountain, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Louis Whatley, who was a policeman and served in the U.S. military.
