Louis Palmer, Jr.

Louis Palmer, Jr. , age 52 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away February 5, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma.

A funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.  Larry Chesser and Dave Herriman will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Leonard Palmer, Michael Palmer, Trey Rogers, C. J. Hudson, Joseph Gore, and James Ryder.  Honorary bearers are Jeffery King, Rob Crawford, and Michael Smith.

Louis was born March 4, 1969 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Louis Palmer, Sr. and Nettie Louise (Mabes) Thompson.  He graduated from Sequoyah High School and married Heather Renee Payne on August 28, 2014 in Konawa.  He loved to play video games, and he loved music in general.  He loved to be around people, and he loved his daughter and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Heather Palmer of the home; one daughter, Grace Palmer of the home; one brother, Leonard Palmer of Holdenville, Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Ireland King of Konawa; one step-son, Jeffery King of North Carolina; numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Sandra (Palmer) Carlin.
