Lorine Reynolds

Lorine Phyllis Cheatwood Reynolds, 92 year-old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Friday, September 13, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was born February 22, 1921 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to parents Nathan C. “Nat” Cheatwood and Willie Azora (Clayton) Cheatwood. Lorine was a bookkeeper and office manager for Cornet Stores in Pasadena, California where she retired.  She married Raymond R. “Bud” Reynolds on March 27, 1939 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Lorine was of the Baptist faith.  She is survived by one son, Ron and his wife Donna Reynolds of Russellville, Arkansas; two brothers, Floyd and his wife Elva Cheatwood of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Charles and his wife Carolyn of San Angelo, Texas; two grandchildren, Patricia Renee Turk-Delone and her husband Jerry of Ausburg, Arkansas and Robert R. Reynolds of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one great-grandchild, Joe David Turk III of Ausburg, Arkansas; three sisters-in-law, Hazel Summers of Seminole, Oklahoma, Maurice Reynolds of Grandbury, Texas and “Scooter” Cheatwood of Lawton, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Lorine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Raymond “Bud” Reynolds; three sisters, Marie Stapleton, June Isham and Grace B. Lott; and by one brother, Ralph Cheatwood. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 16, 2013 at Little Cemetery located north of Seminole with her brother, Floyd Cheatwood officiating the service.
