Loretta M. (Roulston) Cole

Loretta M. (Roulston) Cole , age 81 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away March 26, 2022 at her home under the care of Tradition Hospice.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Asher under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.  Lester Robbins will officiate, and burial will follow at Vista Cemetery.  Casket bearers are Larry Odell, Ronnie Odell, Tanner Cole, Bobby Cole, Kyle Yahola, and Jackie Cole.  Honorary bearers are Jack Thompson, and Wyman Nail.  Visitation will be until 7:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

Loretta was born June 2, 1940 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Joe Roulston and Helen (Gaines) Roulston.  She graduated from Vamoosa High School, and she married Bob H. Cole July 25, 1959 in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Loretta worked as a sales representative for Doner Hardware Store in Konawa, and she was a member of the Eastern Star for 50 years.  She loved making wedding cakes, and she loved to cook.  Her favorite thing was socializing.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Cole of the home; two brothers, Herbert Hailey and Jay Roulston, both of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Rachael Yahola, Tanner Cole, and Bobby Keith Cole; and two great grandchildren, Reagan Yahola and Beckett Yahola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Helen Roulston and her son, Byron Cole.
