Former Seminole resident, Lorene C. (Criswell) Beattie, 91 year old, passed from this life July 12, 2007 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born March 15, 1916 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to parents Arthur A. Criswell and Ola (Chastain) Criswell.rnrnLorene married Fred C. Beattie in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1992.rnrnMrs. Beattie attended the University of Oklahoma and was of the Catholic faith. She lived in Seminole County for 30 years before moving to Oklahoma City and later to Tulsa, Oklahoma.rnrnMrs. Beattie leaves to cherish her memory, two nephews, Lawrence J. Gregg, M.D. and his wife Lynda of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dan Criswell, M.D. and his wife Julie of Lawton, Oklahoma, and one niece, Sally Criswell Guldenschue.rnrnLorene was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Raymond Criswell and by one sister, Annell Gregg (12-26-2001).rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14. 2007 at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
