Funeral services for longtime Seminole resident, Lorena Christina "Lorene" Stalnaker, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, OK with burial at Cummings Cemetery in Maud.rnrnServices will be under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home, Maud.rnrnLorene passed from this life on March 12, 2007 at Seminole Hospital at the age of 92.rnShe was the oldest born of eight children to Benny Carl and Viola (Johnson) Marx. rnrnShe married Arnamus Ward ?A.W.? Stalnaker on December 9, 1933 in Harjo, Oklahoma. rnShe is preceded in death by her parents, husband in July of 1976, two sons: A.W. Jr. and Donnie Stalnaker, and three brothers and two sisters.rnrnShe is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Jerry Stalnaker of Seminole and Grady and Gloria Stalnaker of Maud, Oklahoma, one daughter, Sharon Renfro of Maud, Oklahoma, one brother Richard Marx of Georgia and one sister, Ola Williams of Maud. Seven grandchildren, three-step grandchildren, six great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends, also survive her.rn Funeral Information: March 15, 2007, 11:00 AM
