Longtime Seminole resident, Lola Irene McCain, passed away, Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the age of 97. She was born on September 3, 1908 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Oliver and Cora (Miller) Harper. rnrnShe married Ernest Melvin McCain on February 14, 1924 in Cromwell, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was also a member of the Seminole Elks Lodge. rnrnShe is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Ernest M. and Donna McCain of Pinehurst, N.C., daughter, Betty Watts of Conyers, Georgia, sister, Annie Whinery of Seminole, three grandchildren and their spouses; Lin and Millie Watts of Conyers, Georgia, Chuck and Mary Thomas Watts of Wilmington, Ohio, & Sean and Sandy McCain of Paradise, California. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, Benjamine Watts of Conyers, Georgia, Sam Watts of Conyers, Georgia, Ann Charles Watts and husband Jason Hillard of Waynesville, Ohio, Joshua McCain of Paradise, California, and Courtney McCain of Paradise, California. Two nieces; Jackie Upton of Baton Rough, Louisiana, and Betty May Keys of Tulsa, Oklahoma. rnrnShe was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Melvin McCain in 1967.rnrnFuneral Services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Rev.
