Lois C. Sorrell

Lois C. Sorrell, 91 longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away, Wednesday, Mary 29, 2019 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Lois was born January 15, 1928 in Twin Falls, Oklahoma to John Christopher and Bessie (Carrigan) Christopher. Lois married Sherman Sorrell on August 29, 1946 in San Pablo, California, and he preceded her in death on June 12, 2010. Lois graduated from High School in 1945 in Richmond, California. She loved reading and traveling. Lois is survived by two sons; Johnnie L. Sorrell of Brentwood, California and Randy S. Sorrell of Shawnee, Oklahoma, one daughter Shelley A. Dotson of Rodeo, California, one sister Louise James of Pinole, California, her niece Susan Sexton of Tennessee, and four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Tom and Chris Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery, North of Seminole, Oklahoma. There will be a family visitation, on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.
