Lois Kinnett

Lois Marie Kinnett went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 5, 2009 at the age of 80. Lois was born on May 11, 1928 in Meeker, Oklahoma to Floyd and Margie (Gallaway) Kinnett. Lois has lived at Seminole Estates Nursing Home since 2000. She became close to many of the staff and residents there. Lois has been a member of Seminole First Baptist Church since moving here in 1978 from Meeker. She loved going to church and was an active part of the Mary Davis Sunday School class until she was no longer able to go the past few years. Lois loved children and worked in the church nursery and babysat many children in her home.rnLois had a great smile that lit up any room and her sense of humor will always be remembered. Lois loved life and all of her family members. She loved it when people would visit her and she loved receiving cards that she would read word for word.rnLois leaves to cherish her memories of her nephews; Chris Clark and wife Dava of Shawnee; C.M. Clark and wife Sue of Seminole; niece, Pam Fletcher and husband Terry of Seminole; great nieces and nephews; Casady and Peyton Fletcher, April Clark, Derek and Carrie Clark and great-great nephews, Tyler Crandall and Carson Clark. rnMemorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Bridge Building Fund, 420 Reid Street, Seminole, Oklahoma 74868 or to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, for Lupus Research 825 N.E. 13th Street Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104 in memory of Lois. rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Tommy Clark officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker, Oklahoma. rnrnPallbearers will be: Chris Clark, Derek Clark, C.M.
