Former Seminole resident Lois Velma (Sapp) Jenkins passed away on Monday, October 01, 2007 in Heritage Villa Nursing Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 94.rnrnShe was born on April 25, 1913 in Warner, Oklahoma to John C. and Nora (McDaniel) Sapp. rnrnShe married Alva E. Jenkins on March 21, 1931 in Seminole, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death in 1973. rnrnShe was a homemaker and was a member of the Adams Boulevard Church of Christ in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She became a Christian and was baptized in the Church of Christ in 1933.rnrnShe is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Benny R. and Kay Jenkins of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, three daughters and son-in-law; Maxine Jenkins of Elizabeth, West Virginia, Faye Wozniak of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Shirley and Curtis Ballew of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, one brother, Earl Sapp of Tulsa, Oklahoma and one sister, Gladys Kennedy of California. rnrnTwelve grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and thirteen great great grandchildren also survive her. rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alva E. Jenkins, four sisters: Hazel Fleming, Thelma Barnes, Irene Wills and Rosine Musgrave, two grandchildren, Kathy Magnauck and Don Dixon. rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Thursday, October 4, 2007 with Rusty Dawson officiating.
