Lois Pauline (Forbes) Blythe Bone of St. Louis, Oklahoma entered eternal life on January 24, 2015 at her home, she was 98 years old. Lois was born February 21, 1916 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Delmar Clinton and Lillie Vetner (Brown) Forbes. Lois has lived in the Pottawatomie county area all her life and in St. Louis for 74 years. She was a member of the St. Louis Baptist Church and was an example of the Christian community her entire life. She was also a member of the Maud Eastern Star Chapter. She enjoyed gardening well into her 90’s and her family remembers her giving the strongest hugs. Lois is survived by her daughter, Juanita Spillers and husband Tom of Wagoner, Oklahoma, her daughter-in-law, Terry Lee Blythe of Macomb, Oklahoma, two granddaughters, Diane Cooper and husband Mike, and Ginger McBride and husband Steve, one grandson, Mike Blythe and wife Martina, seven great grandchildren, Daylan, Grant, Mikelle, Jarred, Zach, Evan and Paige and one great-great grandchild, Madison. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years, George Blythe, her second husband, George Bone, and her son, Terry Blythe. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the First Baptists Church of St. Louis, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Prairie View Cemetery near Macomb, Oklahoma. Glen Peck will officiate at the services. Pallbearers are Steve McBride, Zach McBride, Evan McBride, Jarred Blythe, Mike Blythe, and Grant Blythe. Honorary bearers are Mike Cooper, Ty Dean and Dean Mason. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Maud, Oklahoma.
